Love It, March 17, 2011

This compact router is outstanding. I have a spira-cut I could have used for sign making but the base is not secure or strong enough. This router solves the problem by giving both support and strength at the point of contact. Also, router sign making bits are much safer and better to use.

Other Pro’s:
Plenty of power.
Much smaller than I expected making it superb for freehand sign lettering and tracing patterns.
Size makes one able to operate with one hand and you can control movement with better accuracy.
You need the plunge base. Otherwise, this unit is not worth the cost. The plunge adds the magic for what this router can do.

Con’s:
Cost. This is not cheap but neither is it flimsy. I know you get what you pay for.
I can’t find a spare plunge sub base for purchase. They have them for the fixed base but not for the plunge. Hard to find so far.

I love Birks… this purchase is replacing a pair of black suede Arizona sandles that I wore and did not take care of this winter!

I do own over 30 pairs of Birks all different styles and types…

However, this is the first pair of “soft footbed” Birks I have purchased and WOW! what comfort! They appear to be identical to my old pair but that little layer of foam in the footbed makes a wonderful difference. I have big feet – and so I am limited in the brands and styles of sandals I can wear. I just bought my fourth pair of these sandals, and I get between two and three years wear from each pair of sandals.

This is especially good when you consider that I live in Florida and wear sandals almost all the time.

They generally stay on because they have ridges on the insole that your feet can grab. The arch support is excellent.

I have never had the uppers fail – eventially I wear the soles clean off and then they need to be replaced.

I wish I had read reviews before buying this blender. The plastic base broke almost immediately — after only several uses! The plastic appears to be faulty. It cracked and fell apart under normal use — allowing the contents to seep out. I was going to request a replacement screw-on base, but other reviews indicate that the replacements also broke apart. I guess this nearly new blender is destined for the trash. What a waste of money.

This is a great backpack purse. Holds everything my old purse did, plus it has open pockets on the sides for my cell phone and keys. It is a bit taller than I’m used to, and the carrying strap has to be unzipped to make it into a backpack; but those are things I can deal with. It is very, very cute!

I’ve had this blender for several months. It does a great job crushing ice, which is what left my cheeeapy Hamilton Beach blender smoking (literally!) I like that the heavy glass jar won’t jump off the base, although that same weight does make it hard for a person without much hand strength to lift with one hand or to hold for very long. I’m very satisfied with the power of the motor and the durability. For the price, it’s great.
