Just bought a 2008 JK wrangler 2-door and was pretty leery of items being stolen including… yes… the doors. I read a bunch of horror stories in the forums of people having their doors and hoods stolen and I wanted to do whatever I could to prevent it. These are exactly what I was hoping for. They are discrete and the black part is has a hardened finish and spins free so even someone with vice grips can’t work these off. They look great almost like they are from the factory and don’t have any tacky logos like some of the other options out there. I do highly recommend the Tuffy brand hood lock as well if you are concerned about theft on your JK. I bought the 4-door lock set and installed it on my two door. Extra security with two locks on each door and it was only $8 more.

These are okay, the tool doesn’t exactly fit proper, but it works. doesn’t make me feel any more secure than the normal Hinge Bolts.

The bolts go on easily. They are black exterior so they look like they were factory installed.
Just note there is only one bolt per door. I was under the impression there would be 8 bolts for all four doors on an unlimited. Each door only has one bolt. At the end off the day i think you only need one secure bolt per door. This just caused some confusion initially.
